As many of you know, there aren't that many new action/adventure anime out there, aside from Bleach. Nothing like great anime such as "Cowboy Bebop", "Gungrave", "Hellsing", "Trigun".....all past animes. Does anyone know any anime premiring from now till Fall that fits the "action/adventure" category? thanks!

I believe Samurai Champloo will be coming to CN sometime in late spring. It's by Shinichiro Watanabe, the guy who did Bebop, so it should be pretty good.

I believe the new Tatsunoko OAV series Karas will fill this nicely. I'm guessing it'll have a similar feal to the recent Casshan stuff, very edgy and full of action with a great story. Should prove interesting.

I really wasn't implying to new action anime in the US, I actually meant new anime in Japan. I'm actually pretty familiar with FMA and SC.....But Karas does look pretty cool!

Oval X Over will be released in Japan this week...new OVA by the director of Dead Leaves. Should be good stuff. And I don't know when Afro Samurai is going to come out, but it should be soon.

Oh, well then there's BUSHILORD. It's on my "Want to see" list.
Edit: There's also another Naruto movie coming out sometime in August.

MAR is coming out soon, that's but Nobuyuki Anzai, of Flame of Recca fame.
Also, Tsubasa has a fair amount of action in it, although not in every episode.

I've read about it in some Newtype USA issues awhile back. It's sad because I can't remember anything about it besides the fact that I liked it. The art style is beautiful.
Yay! Swords!
