person#8504
Multiple people are merged into Kazuo WATANABE Breaks down as follows; where I've had to look up new sources I have indicated, otherwise using the existing source: 渡辺和男 (manga assistant): (1983) Fist of the North Star manga 渡邊一夫 (Production comittee member): (1991) Only Yesterday 渡辺和夫 (animator): (1989) Patlabor: The Movie (source) (1995) Azuki-chan (source) (1996) Lupin III: Dead or Alive (1998) Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight (1999) Z-Mind (source) (2002) Kiddy Grade (2003) Gunslinger Girl ep 12 (archived source) (2004) BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad (2005) Ichigo 100% (2005) Oku-sama wa Joshi Kousei (2006) (The) Story of Saiunkoku (source - since the original is entirely useless, telling me straight away who entered it) (2009) Needless (2003) Gunslinger Girl ep 6 (archived source) since this disagrees with the other animation credits and with another page on the Fuji TV site I am disqualifying it 渡邊和夫 (script): (2004) Monster 渡邊和夫 (production - 制作進行/制作デスク): (2004) Paranoia Agent (2006) Black Lagoon (source; also 渡辺和夫 - typo?) Not sure if these last two are the same person or not since they have the same kanji and are working at the same time but not in the same role This last guy is also credited with 制作進行 for beck, which I haven't added since the other guy is already credited as animation director. |

Monster was animated by Madhouse, and the production guy's work is all Madhouse titles too. I'm leaning towards them being the same. It's not the only time I've seen a person do those different roles. Kyoto Animation's Katsuhiko Muramoto seems to be a similar case. |
