the first episode on my box set of his series has a scene where Kay accidentaly knocks over a box of his teacher's things and it's censored, is this normal? what has been censored?

It's spelled Kei, and yes it's normal, but I don't remember what it was  .

It was censored in the Japanese version as well. It was done on purpose so that people would have to guess as to what it was. Alien technology.. or other things. However, a page from the manga offers a solution.
