I've largely ignored the video section since originally there were no anime episodes available to view from here in the UK. That is different now with Gundan and Crunchyroll titles etc., and I've discovered a few FUNimation titles that are visible (hence supposedly viewable - anything I cannot access normally doesn't show up at all) however when I try to play any of them I get the error from Joost "Sorry, that show is no longer available (20034). Maybe we can interest you in one of the shows below instead?", yet the expiry date for all of them is 2010-11-30.
First episode links Black Blood Brothers: animenewsnetwork.com/video/700/ Galaxy Railways: animenewsnetwork.com/video/1464/ Kiddy Grade: animenewsnetwork.com/video/3025/ Mushishi: animenewsnetwork.com/video/2865/ Peach Girl: animenewsnetwork.com/video/1353/ Rumbling Hearts: animenewsnetwork.com/video/1a537/ Shigurui: animenewsnetwork.com/video/1404/ Shuffle: animenewsnetwork.com/video/1305/ xxxHolic: animenewsnetwork.com/video/3049/ Just to add insult to injury, the titles it helpfully suggests I might like to view instead are all geolocked.. the only anime I can find on Joost directly is The Slayers from Gong (which is also on ANN and viewable) There are also four films listed as "courtesy of ADV Films". Unlike the FUNImation titles it does not say "via Joost" in the main list, but it is the Joost player that comes up, this time with the error "Sorry, we are not allowed to display this show in your country (20032). Maybe we can interest you in one of the shows below instead?" Lady Death: animenewsnetwork.com/video/3017/ My Beautiful Girl Mari: animenewsnetwork.com/video/3019/ Parasite Dolls: animenewsnetwork.com/video/3018/ Sin: animenewsnetwork.com/video/3020/ |

Unfortunately, Joost tends to pull the plug on shows without telling anyone about it. The shows just disappear from their feed even though they had an expiration date in the future. And as you might know Joost is basically dead, so there's no chance of anyone over there ever caring about that problem.
Like the last time that happened, I did a sanity on the Joost streams and had to expire the following: - Angelic Layer (d) - Bastof Syndrome (d) - Best Student Council (d) - Black Blood Brothers (d) - Chance Pop Session (d) - Feature films - Galaxy Railways (d) - Kiddy Grade (d) - Magical Play (d) - Mushi-shi (d) - Nurse Witch Komugi (d) - Peach Girl (d) - Rumbling Hearts (s) - Saiyuki (d) - Shigurui: Death Frenzy (s) - Shuffle (s) - Slayers Next (d) - Super Milk-chan (d) - xxxHOLIC (d) Which leaves us with: - Air Master (s) - Captain Harlock TV (s) - Digimon Adventure 02(s) - Fist of the North Star TV (s) - Galaxy Express 999 TV (s) - Pretty Cure (s) - Slam Dunk! - Slayers (d) |

I did a quick search for recent threads on Joost as I thought I remembered something but didn't find that one sorry. I remember hearing something about Joost dying, but since it is clearly still running I thought it might have been saved somehow - I guess it is either on life support or hunting for brains right now then.
