Typical trolling from you. My favourite show ever is Dragonball Z, yet it is absolutely crap from the quality of its plot, storytelling and pacing, plus the way it handles most of the background characters. People can be a fans of something while still acknowledging that it has flaws. |

Video games like this are aimed at the biggest fans, not the people who only watch a show and somewhat enjoy it.

Because this truly bewrays who the target audience of this show is? This is so tasteless that it's put me off of ALL of the franchise. That and I just don't really like the show anymore. |

Well, the second reason is certainly a valid one to drop the show, but just because you're not a member of the target audience doesn't mean you can't like it.

Franchises aren't monolithic things, often different parts of them target different audiences. Just because this game targets hard-core fans who want to date Asuna doesn't mean that the Anime series is somehow responsible for this or even that it has anything to do with this. Ugh, can't believed I just defended Sword Art Online . . . |
