I... don't know how to feel. I was really sad to lose School Rumble with Del Rey, but I've never liked reading manga online. Besides, with so many free scanlations available, why would I want to pay? Don't get me wrong, I have a huge physical manga collection and am all for supporting the industry... but if the only way to read more School Rumble is online, which I don't want to do anyway, I might as well read a free version, right?
Now, if they were to at least release it in a form I could put on my iPad...

They're working on an iOS app. Already have their Android app on my phone. A little buggy at first but it got better with updates.

Their app is still crap. Look, it would just be easier if they'd give us pdf's, then we wouldn't have to put up with thier crappy app in the first place.

Do you need an internet connection for the app or does it store some titles locally like e-readers usually do? I'd gladly look into it if it's the latter but if I have to be connected to the internet all the time that's almost as bad as having to read it on the PC.

There's some sort of local cache, but the app only really works with an internet connection. Hopefully they'll fix this in a future update. As it is it'd be more convenient to use a CBR/CBZ comics reader, which kind of defeats the purpose of going legit with digital manga. Also the app defaults to displaying manga in Japanese, even though on the website English is the default.

if they continue Nodame Cantabile, I will immediately throw my money at them. I haven't had a reason to use Jmanga yet, but if THAT TITLE is continued!!
As I said. They will immediately have a new customer.

It would not. Providing customers with easy, drm free content that can be stored locally and accessed at their convenience is the future. Trying to worry about if someone is going to pirate said content is a red herring. All it does is discourage potential customers.

There has been quite a number of never-before-seen titles being added onto JManga. I wonder if the ANN Encyclopedia is able to keep up with the entries.
And also are there going to be manga reviews on some of the JManga titles?

I wonder what the deal is with them not listing anything for Tuesday. Do they really not have anything or are they planning a surprise announcement?
