Wow, one day and already they're being pretty ballsy and taking on a title like GE 999! Way to go, S'more! I might buy this, but it will depend on how much I enjoy the movies.

I have the movies, so depending on how much I like those, I'll probably get this.

Another company tackling shows from the 70's and 80's? LET'S GO CUTEY HONEY LICENSE!

Damn, I never thought I would live to see this day. Shocked

After the disasters with Bandai and Media Blasters, the year is finally starting to look up again!

Good luck with that. It's not a show you can marathon very easily.

This is very surprising. I never thought that I'd see anything like this. I love the film Galaxy Express 999 and I have been considering watching the series online, but if a respectable DVD release is coming, I might just restrict that to sampling a few episodes and wait for it to see the rest.

Galaxy Express 999 and Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo a damned odd pair, but certainly distinctive choices. I hope that the sets are good enough to be worth owning. I'd like to reward this sort of daring, but I'm a little worried that they might pile so many episodes on each disc that the quality is too poor even for my insensitive eyes.

My real dream would be for somebody to produce an English dub for the series with the cast from the films, or at least Kathleen Barr as Maetel... and a pony... and world peace... and to own that Second Empire mansion at 2036 Delancey Place in Philadelphia.

Pretty sure the first GE999 movie spoils a good chunk of the TV series.

I wonder if they'd release Pretty Cure. It has a dub and was aired on TV in Canada. I'd love to own the series on DVD. Anime catgrin

Nice, but I'll still sit down and wait to see how the actual product will turn out before rushing out to buy this, particularly considering we are dealing with a relatively new company here. It wouldn't be unusual to see them go through some growing pains, for lack of a better description.

Nevetheless, it is certainly very welcome news to see such a classic like Galaxy Express 999 finally get an official release.
