I doubt I'd pick up the BR upgrade, since the source material was already boring as hell. But the extras make it a good deal. But whatever happened to the second novel tie-in to the movie sequel, anyway?

For some odd reason I thought Hideki Arai's The World is Mine had been licensed and renamed before I actually read the article.
*sigh* Wishful thinking, I guess. Probably should go to bed, since my mind is apparently playing tricks on me. |

I only just bought the old (reallly quite fat) Battle Royale novel quite a few months ago, wish I'd known about this! I hope it's hard-cover.
I also do wonder if it will be a better translation, or more Americanised, or more toned down on violence, or whatever. I don't know what the original translation was like, haven't read my book yet. It's strange to think the older version's been out for nearly a decade too! |
