Has anyone else seen it? I've only seen 7 episodes, but I'm loving it so far. It's so cute and funny and I absolutely love Kyo!

I haven't seen it, but I really want to. I hear it has a great story and even the dub is excellent. I was planning on getting the box set, but I don't think I'll have enough money to dish out this Christmas, since I'm buying stuff for my friends. Anime cry

Well, you could try [snip -L] It's time consuming, but worth it. Thery're subbed, though. But it's all good. I want to get the DVD box set too, but I'm doubtful I'll be able to get it. But there's hope. I hope. Lol.

[Don't encourage people to download licensed series...or download stuff in general. Thanks! -L]

I just started it, but I like it so far. It's got an original flavor, and I really love the characters so far. I can see why it's so popular. Can't wait to see the rest!

Fruits Basket is GREAT. I've seen all of the anime and have been reading the comics as they come out here (though I'm a little behind). And yeah, I really enjoyed the dub except for Ayame.

Fruits Basket has a lot going for it. Wonderful character designs, a solid plot (or plots if you prefer), interesting three-dimensional characters, a very good seiyuu cast and a nice balance of comedy and drama.

However, it ends weird. No, it has two endings. And it would have been fine to end at the first 'break', but for some reason, they decided to throw in ending II.

It almost felt like some rubbish filler material anyone can do without. And to be honest, I tend to bypass the second ending when showing FB to others. It adds nothing to the story, or characters, and makes no sense to boot.

I find it's my civic duty to warn anyone watching it for the first time off watching it to the utter last episode. You're better off just stopping at episode 25. Or was it 24? It's been a while. spoiler[Whenever Kyo regains his human form and meets back up with Tohru and Yuki.] That's a good time to stop.

I'm still making offerings to the anime gods that there will be a second season of FB. This single season feels more like an introduction of all the characters. Once it ended, I had the urge to rub my hands together and say, "Okay, now I know who is who is who, now let's get down to the meat of the story."

The manga is still ongoing if I'm not mistaken. I'm dying to see one additional character in particular, brought to life on screen. Just thinking of the seiyuu possibilities makes me swoon.

p.s. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has memorised Momiji's song.

If there's any anime god that does not answer prayers, it's most certainly the one in charge of sequels.

They gotta produce a 2nd season, cos the ending of the 1st definitely left it open for another season. FB is very popular so hopefully they will produce another season jus like they did for full metal panic

The anime for fruit basket was very well done and I enjoyed it. However, it left of abruptly. This was because when the anime series was coming out while the manga was still being produced. To the best of my knowledge I believe the manga is still coming out in Japan (please correct me if I am wrong). Therefore, I recommend that if anyone enjoyed the anime to pick up the manga to get the complete story.

Most major Books Store(Bordars/Walden Books, Barnes & Nobles) care manga. It will most likly be located in the graphic novel section with American Comics and RPGs. You may have to look aroud for these section.

Also if you cann't find what you are looking for there or prefer buying off the internet here are a couple of differnet sites that sell manga.

Robert's Anime Corner Store
Barnes & Nobles
Tokyopop
Viz
