According to TVTome, one of the posters of tvtome has stated that Naruto will arrive in the FOX BOX in 2006.

Actually, if you look at it it says that it will come to EITHER FoxBox OR Cartoon Netowork in Fall of 2006. That kinda waffling leads me to believe it's just someone trying to sound like they know what's going on. You can bet that if Naruto really was licensed and set to air, not only would it be announced on all the major sites, but they would pick one airing site or the other, not give it to two competing networks at the same time.

Basically this is more than likely just rumor. Besides, I wouldn't expect anything to be done about Naruto for quite a while, it's just too hot right now and not only are the licensing fees probably equal to the Gross National Product of Japan, but there's probably so much competition going on between companies that it will be in limbo for quite a while.

EDIT - And like Kusanagi said, don't post something as NEWS unless it's been reported on the main page first. This particular forum is supposed to be for discussing ANN news articles, not baseless rumors.

Wouldn't have to be hacked to be made up. TV Tome's sections are basicly unsupervised info sites run by average Joe Fan. As long as they aren't cought there's nothing keeping them from posting rumors as news, or making up their own news for that matter. Their news has zero credability there, especially when most don't have the sense enough to give sources, and is only worth going there for stuff like episode listings and general show information.

TVTome is full of ....

Which isn't to say that it won't happen, just that whoever invented this information for TV Tome did just that, invented it.
