This is more of a fine print issue than anything else:
In the case of FLAG, given that it has an MSRP of $39.98, the amount taken off is $15.99, which results in a discounted price of $23.99. So, yes, the 40% has been taken off, but not the quoted price TRSI lists on their website. |

This is magnified now that TRSI pretty much takes 20-25% off of everything all the time now. They will have to make it even more clear(no idea how) that it is taking the discount from the retail price and not the standard TRSI price. Due to the lower prices(which I think is a smart move btw) it even makes the "today you saved" page right before you complete an order somewhat underwhelming. Before, in a studio sale order of $100 assuming no membership and a retail value of about $170, it would tell you that you saved about $53. Now, with the same order it will tell you that you only save about $27. Even though it is the exact same deal, and you are saving the exact same amount, I can see why it would throw people off. |
