Ooh, sounds like some good names are working on this; I didn't even know there was going to be a dub... I can't wait to see the film (seeing as it's less fantastical than the usual Ghibli of today).

I'm surprised that real Hollywood types are interested in a Goro Miyazaki movie. Did they hear, "Miyazaki movie" and think it was Hayao?
I'm looking forward to seeing this released, though. I've read some good things about it and it's good to know they're taking it seriously. I wonder who's in the cast.

Glad to see some care is going into this film, too bad only Jibbly films can receive this star treatment.

And so goes the waiting game.
I've yet to see it but it looks lovely and with this being another lackluster year for domestically produced animated feature films I'd say it has at least a chance for Oscar nomination this year.
Some odd sentences in the article though.
"Howard and co-executive producer Frank Marshall have also posted some pictures from the Howard at the recording studio on Wednesday.
???
"of Howard"?
"Studio Ghibli is producing the English-language version of the film, and Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are co-executive producing the English version."
???
Does that refer to the difference between producing and executive producing? Is there a difference between "English-language version" and "English version"?

Oh this is going to be interesting, I wonder who else will join the Elish dub cast?

This looks to be interesting. I haven't seen the film yet, but hopefully I'll be able to see it when it's in theaters.

Ron Howard, really? The last real acting job he ever did was in 2001 for Osmosis Jones, and frankly i don't even remember enough of that part or movie. Other than that his acting has mostly been bit parts, cameos and narrating his show Arrested Development.

GKIDS (Guerrilla Kids International Distribution Syndicate) is very well respected by actors and directors so I'm sure they can get people based on their name.

Already own it but I'd pay for a movie ticket.
