In these times, I consider the word "expansion" used together with "videogame" and "anime" to be a very good thing, especially considering its current state.
I love hearing news like this. At least one retail store is flourishing. Bring on the Pokemon!

Wow, the economy can't keep this series of children's toys from launching a full frontal assault in these hard times. We'll just have to see how they do though.

If they can only get Veronica Taylor and Eric Stuart back in the dub of the television series.

People are still buying Pokemon stuff? Its odd to me, because when i needed a stuffed Pikachu for halloween I couldn't find one. All Toys R Us had was cards and video games. Oh well, I hope the new generation enjoys it.

Great, so now when I got to work in my red Toys R Us uniform, kids will be throwing plastic Pokeballs at me thinking I'm an Infernape.

Don't be ridiculous. You can't catch Infernape in the wild.

Silence! Here at Toys R Us, we frown upon restrictions on one's imagination!

So did Jakk's Pacific lose the license to make Pokemon merch? Because the article talks about how Tomy will be directly releasing things here...

And i'm all for it. Although i'm no pokemon freak like that girl from the guniess world recorder,I'm still a die hard fan of both the game and the anime,
though i was hoping the diamond and pearl series had more of the japaneese verions since it was no longer licensed by 4kids,not to mentioned possibly an uncut japaneese version with subs to please the hardcore fans like my sister.
