The 5, 6, 7, 8's, most known for their song "woo hoo" used in the film Kill Bill, are in a commercial. Well, two..technically.

Vonage, the broadband phone company (which we so happen to use *go vonage*) uses a clip of the song in a commercial. And I think there's a Chevy car commercial that uses the song.....but with different people singing the "woo hoo" part. it was kind of disturbing, and the difference was pretty obvious.

Just pointing it out in case any of ya'll were interested

I've had that darn song stuck in my head all day...they must've played it during every commercial break in today's NFL games.

"Woo Hoo" was also used in Team America: World Police. However, the song's not as overused or overplayed as Tomoyasu Hotei's "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" (also used in Team America, as well as a Jaguar commercial).

They've actually had that song since the days it was used for a cartoon at the '96 or '97 Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. The short would be "Dreamboy" on the recent Full Frontal dvd, which you have to be 18 to view; but I'd recommend Unprotected instead, because of its Speed Racer parody.
