At this point, I can't even muster any rage at this anymore.I'm just like..indifferent to this stuff now.
Especially since I sometimes feel hypocritical railing against siscon, I used to be an imoutocon myself, as amazing as that seems.

Yeah, well, with the way things are going, you might as well give up now; always has been pandering, always will be. Personally, speaking as someone who does have a high-school aged little sister, I agree with the sentiment that the imoutocon fantasy is overrated. I watch these shows, but only as supplements to more serious anime, or when I want to power down my brain between studying sessions.
Maybe it's more acceptable if you don't get too serious about it? (By serious I mean interpreting it as a show that promotes immorality.) Granted, it would seem that the industry isn't wanting to try any more, but let's not forget other recent great titles (diminished as their numbers may be). Of course, I doubt you'll change your habit of commenting on what you think about these shows (and rather bluntly, I might add) every time related news pops up, but do try to realize that ad hominem attacks won't get you very far

Indeed. It's really just a method to combine the childhood friend setup with a forbidden love storyline. 99% of the time they aren't real siblings, anyway.

My fave imouto anime till today is still OreImo. But I'll try this and see how it goes....it looks better than NakaImo definitely.

At least it's an improvement on Ye Olde Days when boundary-pushing fanservice involved tentacle rape.

She'd have actually made the show interesting, can't have that now.
