I need a copy of Barefoot Gen on DVD ASAP. Can anyone Help. Who has it? Where can I get it? I have been looking on Ebay. Thanks

I don't believe it exists on R1 DVD. The licenses for both companies that had licensed the movie have expired. Those two were also pre-DVD era licensors. You may have to settle for VHS.

There was a DVD released by Image Entertainment some time ago, but it is now out of print and quite rare. Watch out for bootlegs though, supposedly the bootlegs look exactly like the Image version in every way (and it doesn't help that the Image release is Region 0).

Oops - I bought my DVD 5 years ago without even checking the distributor. Now I'll go home and be annoyed if it's a pirate. It loks like it'll be unlikely that I can replace it with a legit version now...
