The EXIF has been destroyed by the hosting server or the submitter him/herself, so I can only ask: which camera did you use, and what's the average level of cameras in those cosplay events?
For the record, F2.8 "L" lens (nicknamed "red rubber bands"), vertical handles, and 580EX II / SB-900 are quite common here.
