So nice. Lucky East Coasters. She's such an amazing voice actress and a great singer. I always wish she would do more voice roles. I especially like the contrast between her as Nao in Mai-Hime vs her as Sayuri in Place Promised in Our Early Days.

Her performance as Ritsuko in Kids on the Slope was quite lovely, and it makes my inability to go to Otakon even more bitter-tasting.

Nanri Yuuka's a pretty big name, despite how relatively few things she's been in. Also billing her as "Kids on the Slope Voice Actress Yuuka Nanri" is pretty underselling her. |

Otakon always seems to get the more interesting guests, at least from where I stand, of the two major conventions. Announcements like this make me wish that I could make it down there this year. Oh, well, maybe in 2013...
