I personaly like the show so far as I am on eps 7. I wish it could be a little bit more serious, as I would compare it to Kenshin without the history. I mainly started watching this because the Champloo eps stopped really can't wait for those to start again. After I get caught up with Samurai 7 im going to try to watch Escaflowne how good is that since I haven't seen it.

Samurai 7 is pretty good. Animation is pretty fluid as well.

I really enjoy the series so far. Of course I am totally obsessed with most samurai anime.

I think I stopped at episode 15, Samurai7 from what I can tell is based on a movie that was shown to me during class once... if it wasn't for the fact that I knew the general outcome I wouldn't have watched it. It just doesn't measure up to other swords play anime. As always this is only an opinion.

Yeah thats it. Was probably the only piece of Japanese culture I got during my high school days. And yeah the movie was great.
