Never watched this before, but how come it's an 18?
There's no sex or nudity is there?
Surely it can't be an 18 down to bad language?

I have only seen the Japanese broadcast. On that version the language is one of the worst I've ever seen in anime. There are lots of sexual implications, including plenty of partial nudity. I think the language really is the main offender here, the show is like 80% dirty language.

Ah okay.
Usually these days 15 rated material is full of swearing, nudity and violence.
Just found it strange that this would be rated 18 yet stuff Sekirei, which has full on fanservice nudity is only a 15?

I don't think nudity alone matters that much anymore. Surprised Sekirei made it here though, wouldn't that be branded child porn?

There's only one character who looks like a child in Sekirei and I don't recall much/any fanservice.

Master of Martial Hearts got a 15 and that is really full of nudity and fan service.

Hell Strike Witches got a 12.... Razz

Im sure this show deserves the 18 though, BBFC won't give them out without good reason.

Great release, I can't wait for this. I love this series.

And for the people questioning its 18 classification, it's definitely an 18. You will see why.

Yeah. To be fair to the creators of Sekirei, there is no fanservice with her, just with the older ones.

Didn't the licensers put a stop to a BD release in the US too?

They did. I believe reverse importation fear is the reason.

But they should know in this day and age people know about multi region players even more so when you consider the fan base.

Since they're not even allowing a locked Region B release, doesn't that prove the point?

I'm really not surprised at the 18 rating.

But wouldn't that just piss off the US fan base which is something i think Manga EntUK would try to avoid?
