thats what I've been thinking about for a while. animenfo says its still not licensed. i wouldnt mind if Bandai brought over the 5 existing eps and the 2 new ones over here all on 1 DVD, id pay $20-30 for it

Based on what Jerry Chu said at AWA, not very likely at all. Same with the original SD Gundam, the Astray Promos, and pretty much any other "supplemental" Gundam materials out there. |

Well, the problem is that SD Gundam was originally made to very specifically cater to Gundam fans, at a time when the only Gundam titles around were UC titles through Char's Counterattack & 0080. These exact titles, if I'm not mistaken, haven't sold very well in this country, meaning the release of a parody series with that very narrow demographic in mind would almost certainly bomb.
Sad, but I can see where they're coming from with that. |
