Just checking the Viz website and for November there is a listing for Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Adolescence of Utena. Is this a new Utena book, or is it another printing of the five volumes already out?

Eh? I always thought that Revolutionary Girl Utena: Mokushiroku was a movie. Maybe it's a short manga collection based of the movie...Anyways, I exactly don't know it

Thank GOD they finally set a release date. I've been waiting for them to get this out for the last two years since it is the only manga of Utena I'm intrested in. Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Adolescence of Utena is a manga that was created specially for the release of the movie. So because of that, like the manga series, it'll be pretty much like the anime, except Ms. Saito will be in control of all the story elements, and make it more "shoujoy". I've heard naughty things about this manga, like it extends a certian scene from the movie involving Akio and Anthy.
It's only one volume long btw, for those intrested. |
