Well this is a Katsura title and Viz has put out every single one of his works in both manga and anime so no one should really be surprised they picked this up (especially since Katsura's involvement with T&B was part of why they picked it up). Kinda odd the announcement is so last minute though. They usually do this in advance.
If this means we're getting a US release of the manga finally, then I;m pretty excited.

I'm excited and worried all at once. This better not end up being one of their 'stream only' shows...I'm looking at you Ichigo 100%.
Not a surprise as said, but I did hope FUNi would get it.

My most anticipated show of the season and of course Viz gets it. I'm thinking some very unladylike things right now.

Actually, Central Park Media released DNA2 and Wingman (anime or manga) hasn't been licensed. Since I'm currently watching DNA2 I felt obligated to point that out.

I was hoping that this would turn up on Crunchyroll, but that's life. At least we got it. The look of this seems a little old school and I'll be honest, anything with 'dark' in the title has my attention, although it still has to pull it off to keep me watching. If this goes over well in the preview guide, I'll get on it straightaway, otherwise I might wait and see what way the wind blows before bothering.

My bad. Point still stands that they usually try not to pass on his stuff.

Viz almost always licenses the manga to the Anime they stream (I think Neuro is the only exception), so I'm pretty excited to be able to collect Zetman's manga in English!

It is interesting to note the video was actually uploaded on March 30, 2012.
Even if they had made it public the same day, however, that would have still been closer to the simulcast start than any of their past 3 simulcasts. (The second Nura series was announced only 4 days before the simulcast).
In any case, better close than late.
EDIT: Corrected date (had April 30 listed before)

I always thought of the preview guide and reviews as a way to compare my taste to others not something I need for choosing what to watch and what not to. but whatever~
Definitely one of my all time fav shonen manga so I can't wait for this

You echo my sentiments exactly. *sighs*.
I guess I should be grateful that it is being streamed legally, but .....

Thanks Viz
That's sarcasm. I live in Canada, and can't watch anything Viz licenses for streaming because they only use Hulu for some weird reason.

I so wish I had your time machine.
Though in this timeline, it says March 30, 2012.
I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop on this announcement, since this noted by a commentator on Mania.com as being listed by YTV along with Space Bros. ... with an English subtitle available for license. Either that was Viz, and the UK could hope that Anime-On-Demand got it ... or that was before Viz licensed it, in which case someone else had some form of streaming rights first.
