GitS2 is only up to ~55 theaters as of this weekend, nothing anywhere near the 246 screens as reported,
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=ghostintheshell2.htm Still, doing fantastic for the release its gotten, having already done more than half of Bebop's domestic sales in a much shorter period of time and in addition to the pile of new screens this weekend, there's still locations that it hasn't opened at yet. |

I still can't believe that the Yu-Gi-Oh movie is STILL in theaters. When will 4Kids ever learn?

Ever learn what? Trust me, if they didn't think that the movie was making enough money to warrant it's stay in theaters they would've pulled it a long time ago. |

Its made 20 million so far. But has dropped to just $2500-3500 total per day in all the theaters its in.

Judging by the current trend, GITS2's final gross will be somewhere near 1.5 million.
