Please recommend some J pop and SOme J ROck. I like rock more so please list more of that. Also A former megadeth guitarist (marty Friedman) is playing guitar with some japanese pop Idol. DO you know which one. ALso name some Anime Soundtracks cause there is a store in the mall that carries them. I dont know many places that carry J Rock since that isnt the biggest thing, YEt. I have some friends (not extremely close ones though) who are kinda into j POP and KOrean pop. ONe of them likes BOA and THe baby vox. I hope to find something interesting. I was watching Japanese news through a channel called International news channel. I saw a pretty cool J rock band with a female lead singer that plays guitar also. I cant remember her name but I recall she is a 22 year old singer who has made 2 cds. OH well please name some cool bands preferably with female singers ( I just dont like male japanese singers as much) OH also I am really into heavy thrash (Metallica,MEgadeth,SLayer) so if you can also name some bands like that but with female singers or male just name them also,.

Slayer, just know that you're my rock'n'roll hero in these forums. Seriously. We need more metallurgists 'round here.
Anyway, on to your questions.
The idol that's working with Marty Friedman is Nanase Aikawa, though I don't have any of her stuff in which he's playing and/or has written, so I don't know what it sounds like. You can find Aikawa playing on some stuff from the Zoids soundtrack (song "No Future") to give you an idea of what she's like.
As for the Korean stuff, check out Seo Taiji's album "Ultraman." You need about three seconds to understand the former boyband has been influenced heavily by Korn/Ross Robinson (who defined their production sound). Yes, I know that isn't nearly as metal as the bands you listed, but it's still pretty sweet. If you're into the whole "rap-metal" thing, also check out Silver Spoon. Koreans have a funny way with music that blends a lot of styles together.
Lastly, JPop bands with female lead singers. First and foremost is Do As Infinity, and from there you can go down the list to The Brilliant Green, Yellow Machinegun, eX-girl, Judy and Mary, fra-foa, etc. Do a Google on The Project J, and you should find some good stuff. \m/
