Just bought A Thousand and One Nights via Amazon. Only film left in Mushi's Animerama erotica trilogy I've yet to see. So for completionist's sake, why not? Twisted Evil

Found Glass Mask Vols. 47 and 48 today at Half Price Books. I was so surprised to see more volumes, but had to grab for my little collection. I wish this series would actually get an English release, but alas... still, very happy!

Got shelf space freed up enough. Just bought the DVD box set of L/R: Licensed by Royalty via E-Bay.

Yay, I'm not the only OOP collector around here! I have the set myself which I bought years ago. I watched the first episode and it didn't seem very good... maybe it gets better?

Dabble into OOP titles usually, depending on if the titles don't cost an arm and a leg and I have the shelf space for it. Had to watch through a few titles in my stockpile before I could free up enough space to finally dip into L/R.

I feel like Licensed by Royal is one of those shows that Geneon hoped would be a disproportionately big hit in the US market, due of its Western-type setting and "James Bond: The Anime" premise. That potential never really materialized into reality, but I found it to be an okay show: not great, but not terrible either. Worthwhile if you enjoy the dubbing work of New Generation Pictures.

Anyway, the holiday season is upon is, so these might be the last major orders of the year.

CR store:
Angel's 3Piece
Eureka 7: The Movie BD/DVD
Kiss x Sis TV
Le Chevalier d'Eon (S.A.V.E. DVD)
Ramen Fighter Miki
Tweeny Witches

Sentai Store:

Flying Witch
Golden Time
I Couldn't Become a Hero, So I Reluctantly Got a Job
Made in Abyss Movie Collection
Made in Abyss: City of the Scorching Sun
Himouto! Umaru-chan R
Tsurune: The Linking Shot
Val x Love

Yeah, I remember how much Pioneer/ Geneon were attempting to hype up L/R years ago between the ads and promotions they were doing for it. Guess will finally get a chance to see what it's like at some point.

Sentai store (all BD's):
---------------------

Chivalry of a Failed Knight Complete Collection [SteelBook]
Yuki Yuna is a Hero (Seasons 1-3) Complete Collection
Waiting in the Summer Complete Collection
OSHI NO KO (Season 1) Collection
NANA Complete Collection
Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible Complete Collection

Sadly, NANA is on backorder & not expected back in stock until 12/20/24, so that will hold my whole order up... but I couldn't pass up the discount on that and Yuki Yuna. In the case of the latter, I already have Pony Canyon's set of Season 1, so it will be a partial rebuy, but that is well worth it to get Yuki Yuna Seasons 2 & 3...

I originally wanted the SteelBook for Oshi no Ko but it was still too expensive even discounted for Sentai's BF sale.

Now off to Amazon to order Gushing Over Magical Girls, since it is cheaper there than pretty much anywhere else, even Sentai's own store...and probably also Vol. 1 of Discotek's MXC SD on BD...

These mentions of the Sentai store made me go look at their website for the first time in a while. Because I enjoy torturing myself, I checked out the current prices of their limited editions and I see that they are offering Vinland Saga S1 LE for $25 less than I paid during their summer "sale." Grrr, grrr. It's the old conundrum: if you wait for a certain item to go as low as possible, you run the risk of it suddenly going OOP on ya. Buy it too soon and you pay a premium. This is why life sucks unless you are independently wealthy.
