I like shoujo manga art better than shounen manga art as a whole.
Shonen manga art that I like is stuff like Hikaru no Go and Black Cat. I like pretty drawings

There's a lot more news about Yuu Watase. I heard she finished Appare Jipangu ( her side progect for the past couple years) this summer. And I heard that she's working on Fushigi Yugi Genbu story. Yippee!!!! There's a site in German with pics of it.
Also, she just drew Imadoki before Alice 19th. I get the impression from your column that you're saying she drew Alice 19th first. I just wish Imadoki would have been licensed too. It's just amazing to think that Viz is now publishing three Watase series at the same time but not a single one of her series has been fully published in America!!! I'd love to see more of her past work come here!!! |
