Actually, Hayami Show was Pucci for All-Star Battle.
Ironically, he voiced Kakyoin for an audio drama recorded WAY back when. Then Capcom made their fighting game based on Part 3, Hayami was cast for Vanilla Ice, which was recast with Yoshino Hiroyuki for ASB, but when Part 3 got animated, Hayami fit right back in as Vanilla Ice, and it carried over for EoH.
When certain Ultra Jump promos came out in the last few years, Nakata Jouji was playing Pucci for those. This casting may be ironic, because way back in the 90s, Nakata was cast as Folken, Van's older brother, who was played by...Seki Tomokazu.

Yeah, I'm not feeling this song either. I like how they went back to using CG for the opening but I really don't like this song. But there's also been other Jojo OPs that I didn't like, such as Bloody Stream or Fighting Gold, but they were usually followed up by an op that was way better. Hopefully that's the case here.

I'm a little surprised that the OP isn't popular based on the comments.
I kind of understand, though. I like it but I feel that it's definitely outside what I typically hear from the OPs so far.
I can't wait for when this comes out again with the action SFX!

Love that they brought back the CGI for the Opening but I don’t really like the song, hopefully it will grow on me but compared to the previous Openings it’s disappointing. Hopefully the next OP/OPs will be better.

The funny thing is it has the same issue people criticized Chase for, because that had the same feel as every other modern anime song, could have been used for something else and it wouldn't have mattered (and I say this as someone who liked Chase more than this).
Better luck next time assuming this gets a second or third opening.
Now to wonder what's the ending song and if there will be a second one like Part 5 had.

I actually really like Chase due to it sounding very punk. Batta sounds like late 90s Bad Religion, which really fits the 90s settings that Diamond has.

I'm sure the opening song will grown on people. JoJo opening songs tend to fall into two categories. Ones that are instant bangers like Sono Chi no Sadame, Bloody Stream, Stand Proud and Great Days and other that people are iffy about at first like End of the World, Chase and Traitors' Requiem but get more appreciation as time goes by.
Ask for Tomkazu Seki as our main villain of the part, not my first choice for the role (I was expecting the likes of Ryotaro Okiayu or Hikaru Midorikawa) but he'll do great I'm sure. David Pro's casting for the anime has yet to disappoint me. Though it's going to be hard to not mentally picture Gilgamesh or Domon Kasshu there in place when Pucci gets extra as JoJo characters are wont to do.

Interesting. I had no idea that "Chase" wasn't that popular either. I loved it and thought it totally fit with the overall plot of the season.
I believe that the ending song was already announced. I forgot what it was but if I recall it was a bit slower paced than "Freek N You".
Gave me some "Last train home" vibes, but don't remember too much about it.

I like the song well enough but I’m also kind of disappointed in it. When I saw who the lead singer was I got excited, but the song just didn’t hit that much for me. I think I figured out why. What brings it down is the backup singers. It started off really good and with the first 30 seconds, I thought it might go to the top of my list for JoJo Openings. But then the backup singers start coming in. Every time they repeat something the lead singer says, or they sing yay in the background it clashes with the rest of the song. Their voices don’t match. The backup singers are very high-pitched and squeaky, while the lead singer has a lower register. If the lead singer had a higher-pitched voice, if the backup singers matched the lead singers vocals, or they just weren’t any backup singers I think the song would be much better

Tbh I didn't even watch or know about the event until after I saw the opening. Personally I loved both the visuals and the song. While I get why people may not be a fan of it, and feel it can be too modern of a choice, I feel each opening represented both the Jojo experience at the time of their release like how Parts 1-3's openings emulated the 80s machismo and flashy openings, part 4's gave off the funky, and also punk rock edge, part 5 at the tail end and into 2000s with shonen esque openings, and 6 entering in with a bombastic female rock jam. Though I imagine us getting more openings beyond this, I am curious to see what will come next in the next opening.
