Low disc sales in Japan does not necessarily mean "no one watched it".

Low is putting it lightly, they barely passed 1000 units, and that's DVD and blue ray combined.

There was an Answerman awhile ago, where he stated that disc sales figures are educated guesses, not exact numbers.

Proof that when people think of transformation scenes, their 1st thought is usually going to be of female characters. And of course Kill la Kill ranks #1 for guys.

It would be nice if the source this article got its info from revealed what criteria they had for "transformation". Also, having no Super Saiyajin listed is ridiculous. Outside of magical girls and the "Transformers" franchise, I think the DB franchise is a default image for anime transformations.

I doubt many people actually think of Super Saiyan mode as anything more than a simple powerup, even the ones that come with a very obvious physical change.

I tend to agree though... henshin sequences and power up sequences are not the same thing.
