Please, please, please don't misformat band names (LUNA SEA and Janne Da Arc). If you don't type names in right when looking for music, you'll have a very hard time finding anything.

...Which is why they're hitting the top 20 on the Oricon. They shouldn't even be an indie band anymore, and are one of several bands currently clogging up the indie charts, because they have an impossible amount of distribution and sales power. There are a lot of bands who don't make the indie charts simply because of bands like ELLEGARDEN, whose releases don't leave the charts.

ELLEGARDEN basically came out nowhere and was huge. Just like DEF TECH and the other chart cloggers.

WOW! I like Cool Joke and Asian Kung-Fu Generation, too! Razz

This is a mix. These are really good bands and I think you should give them a try: Flow, HYDE, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Pierrot, Gackt, Dir en Grey, WAG, Flow-war, The Hong Kong Knife, UVERworld, Janne Da Arc, ORANGE RANGE and Alice 9. My cousin told me to check-out Penicillin, so you check that out, too. Wink

I wrote them out that way because I've seen them written that way just as much as your versions. Oh and they aren't any harder to find no matter which of the formats you type in. By the way, if you know anything about French the correct spelling for "Janne D'Arc" is an "D" and then an apostrophe, not "Da". You need to remember that these bands, while naming themselves from other languages, do make mistakes.

So what if they are? They're a damn good band. And they just happen to be the most popular thing right now. It happens all of time after all. Months back it all people talked about was Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It's no different than any other trends in today's pop culture. I made the statement that they're an indie band because even if they're hitting it big on the Oricon charts, they're still not that well known here amongst American fans of J-music.

God save me from anal fanboys/girls! -_-

I can't remember if anyone mentioned Gazette yet. Also may want to check them out.

If you are looking for music by a certain band, it makes far more sense to spell their name as the band spells it, no matter how grammatically incorrect that might be in the language it's taken from. You wouldn't tell someone not to search for "Moi Dix Mois" just because Mana's French makes no sense, would you?

Yeah, Gazette are pretty good. If you're gonna check them out you should check out the rest of the PS Company bands too Smile Miyavi and Kagrra, are particularily good (in my opinion- lots of people I know don't like them).
