Alone Again (Naturally) by ...someone was an OP for ...some anime. Wasn't much help, was I?

I almost fell to the floor when I heard The Delgados on Gunslinger Girl. They were in L.A. about a month before I bought the Vol. 1 DVD.

Ah - it was Maison Ikkoku, I had totally forgotten until you mentioned that. They used 'Get Down' at one point as well. I have no idea who either are by though.

I was pretty blown away by the Delgados thing also...I've been a big fan of them since just before 'Domestiques' came out and it was a weird sensation when my separate hobbies suddenly intertwined...! I was gutted when they split last year.

The opening theme song for the anime A Little Snow Fairy: Sugar is a Japanese cover of a '70s English song, Sugar Baby Love, by the Rubettes, if Japanese covers of English songs count here.

I think we all already know this but for those who don't, and if Live action adaptations do count, the main theme of the Death Note movie thats coming up soon is Red Hot Chili Peppers new song Dani California. Can't wait to see that, and I can't wait for RHCP's new cd. I love those guys.

Scottish folk singer Ally Kerr does "The Sore Feet Song"; the theme for Mushishi. Apparently thanks to Mushishi he's bigger in Japan than he is in his hometurf.
