The final episode streamed on Sunday, but it did not air on television (with the sequel announcement) until Tuesday, |

Not gonna lie, I only added this show because of Tino but the series grew on me. It's a trash show but in a good way. It's nothing special but the series keeps you entertained every episode. Looking forward to season 2 and hopefully we can see more of the other Grievers party members.

Yay for us seeing even more of the nutjobs in the Griever party (given the sisters I am not expecting the rest to be sane).

Tino was prominently featured in the promotional materials for a reason, and they were very popular on social media and YouTube as a result. Hilarious because the episode previews trashed her as annoying. Was thinking "wow so none of the ANN reviewers are the target audience for this show." |

Is this anime an good pass time despite the mediocrity of the isekai/fantasy stuff just for Tino alone? I couldn't stop seeing how beautiful she is. Or maybe I'm just not explaining this well.

I mean, there's a reason why she's the exclusive feature character of the ED. I tend to like shows where the MC's motivations and true abilities constantly get mistaken/overestimated, and this one serves up a whopping big dose of that. (I also find it amusing how he's the leader primarily because everyone else is too eccentric to do it, and they all know that.) I'll definitely be back for s2. |

I would have liked to encounter something at some point in the show that would give the main crew a challenge -- not even necessarily to see them struggle, but because it would have been nice to see them in a fight where they could really flex the range of the main guild's powers? Also would have liked to see some challenge with growth on the MC's part. And, on a purely technical level, the fights were never especially impressive to watch.
Despite all that, enjoyed this well enough. Comfortably slotted in that cozy brain-off second tier of show for me, similar to the Ossan Newbie last season. Great fluff to watch while working out or half-focusing on something else. Won't mind having another season of it! Last edited by NeverConvex on Tue Dec 24, 2024 8:07 pm; edited 2 times in total |

So the anime is good or just a guilty pleasure? |
