naruto has best fillers
my favourite is the two part mecha naruto story. so good there was also the episode where naruto's shadow clones try to kill him. that was a good episode. I'm glad/surprised(?) "Humans Are Most Dangerous Trope" came in 12th because I made that one lol |

Baseball Blues is in my opinion, a crowning moment for anime. I don't know what's with anime and baseball filler episodes, but they are awesome and hilarious. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Dragon Ball Super jump to mind, but I'm positive I'm forgetting others.
On the vein of "filler" as episodes that diverge or contribute little to the main plot, I'd offer Cowboy Bebop's "Speak like a Child", which managed to be both hilarious and profoundly moving and Wolf's Rain's "Men's Lament" where Quent and Hubb are forced together into a road trip and strangely bond. |
