I don't know if it's already been posted somewhere, but according to this ad for Spirited Away in last week's Variety magazine, Disney is trying to push the movie in 8 divisions:
Best animated feature film produced by Toshio Suzuki Best director Hayao Miyazaki Best original screenplay Hayao Miyazaki, translated by Cindy Hewitt & Donald Hewitt Best film editing Takeshi Seyama Best art direction Yoji Takeshige Best sound *a bunch of people Best original score Joe Hisaishi Best sound editing Petra Bach, Michihiro Ito, Toru Noguchi Slightly off-topic, supposing "Spirited Away" is nominated, personally I don't think Miyazaki would go to the Oscar, he doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would... |
