Oh, and because apparently this needs to be reiterated:

Aoi Yuuki is a good singer. Hibiki isn't. All songs are sung in character. The fact that Aoi can lower herself to Hibiki's level is a sign of her talent.

Wrong, charm was her ass. First season had a terrible bug-eyes. G improved character design mirrion times.

Are you watching the seasons in reverse? Season 1 was bad Madoka riffing. Season 2 was literally Sonic Heroes.

I don't remember Sonic Heroes having sickly parents or musical sequences sung by the characters.
