Wow, Kill la Kill got a lot of high positions. Awesome. I always thought it was more popular in the west but maybe it goes both ways.

Kill la Kill is great show though. Everybody I know who've seen it love it and some of them aren't even into anime. Which is odd to me because after watching the first episode I didn't think it'd be the type of anime that would be very accessible for people that weren't already somewhat invested in the medium.

Mako is 9 and Ryuuko is 10? Wow. Mako is a serious sh*t.

Somehow I am bugged that Senketsu is categorized as mascot.

I think we all know that Satsuki beats both of them by far.

Amazed to see Kill la Kill on a lot of these considering how atrocious it is. Mako number 9 on best female character? Joke vote? Got to be.

Glad to see great series like SAOII, Mahouka, Arpeggio, Free! and JoJo represented though. Agree with Asuna on the female character list, still ahead of Sinon and Mother's Rosario will only elevate her higher.

what. Dude, you're just asking for trouble with that line. I can't really take this post seriously.

What's wrong with Free?

Some anti-otaku folks latched onto the misconcieved notion it was supposed to be pro-western show when the concept came out just because it was action oriented. There was even a ridiculous meme that it was supposed to "save" anime. Well, if anyone knows Trigger (or the former Gainax crew) they'd realize the crew are bunch of otakus themselves, and the entire pro-western misconception dropped once the fanservice became apparent.

to be honest this list is full of BS awards. Like seriously because First, Love Live is much more popular than Idolmaster.

Second, Riddle Story of Devil, One Week Friends, and . Is the order a rabbit? were okay but they seriously didn't deserve best picture. If it was best picture, anime such as Nagi No Asukara and Zankyou no Terror deserves them.

Third, if this was more of a popularity poll, we probably won't be seeing these anime on the top 10 list. We'd rather be seeing oreimo, Hataraku Maou-sama! and something along those lines.

Fourth, where is Attack on Titans?

Sweet I hope we get more shows like Kill la Kill, I love that over the top weirdness and action, it reminds me of why I got into Anime in the first place.

You can't be serious with that comment? Love live is pretty much a Idolm@ster rip off, and second Idolm@ster expands far beyond just anime since it was original and arcade game. To say it isn't as popular is absurd. Its way more popular.

Count me amongst the puzzled at Akuma no Riddle's inclusion - the anime isn't bad, it's just not good(or maybe it looks better to those who haven't read the manga?).

But boy are those Idolmaster fans out in force!

Why in God's name is Kirito the best male? He's one of the most blandest characters I've ever seen in a series.

Sora from No Game No Life deserves that award.
