I hope that it sells well so that they'll release Cross Game on DVD as well. They already have the streaming.

Then again, I'm torn because the first Monster DVD box keeps looking at me and asking why I haven't bought anymore of it... and Viz won't tell me why they haven't released it yet.

Decisions, decisions.

Also, Viz. You are terrible. You do not "score" a home run. You "hit" a home run.

I'm surprised there actually releasing a sports manga they never sell well at all in the US

That's not true. For manga anyways. Sports Animes are the ones that bomb. Mangas seem to garner enough of a readership to keep printing. PoT, ES21, Slam Dunk; all still printing. Probably not at Naruto or Bleach quantity but still enough to keep printing or justify a small printing. And none of those series are short ones.
