According to a commercial that I flipped on this morning on Fox, they announced the among One Piece and F-Zero was "Mew Mew Power" and showed a scene from the anime very clearly with a very puffy-looking logo.
X_x; Where did they come up with that?

They announced last month, that it was going to be Tokyo Mew Mew. It was supposed to be "Hollywood Mew Mew" but they changed it back to Tokyo Mew Mew.

So close!

No mention of a date and time (the commercial was for the special block they're doing next Saturday-- showing off the new shows for the fall.)

I checked FoxBox's site, but there seems to be no news on ANY of the new shows coming out. Too bad.
Anyway, what does it matter what the title is? As long as the show remains in tact, the title of the show should not matter. Mew Mew Power, Holywood Mew Mew, Tokyo Mew Mew, either way, the plot will remain the same.
Anyway, what you might have heard, "Mew Mew Power," might have just been an expression Fox Box used to advertise the new show.

I don't think they ever said that. All I remember is a press release that listed all of their new licenses and they used the name "Tokyo Mew Mew" where they had earlier been using "Hollywood Mew Mew", but never said "Tokyo" was the name they'd stick with. But still, "Mew Mew Power" is far better than "Hollywood" any day, lesser of two evils I suppose. Just keep in mind that they could still be setting this in Hollywood.

Mew Mew power? Oh, no, no, no, no! That's just plain creepy! I though Hollywood Mew Mew was bad, but Mew Mew Power?

Ya know, why can't they just call it Mew Mew and make everybody happy?

I was thinking, maybe they were thinking that they could have it set in the futre after a certain big buget movie from earier this year where the Hollywood sign was destroyed but 4kids thought it might too much of tie in.

The domain mewmewpower.com is still available; make of that what you will.

Doesn't mean anything, 4Kids doesn't do webpages for their titles using unique domain names (except Yugioh).
