...Wut? I hope we get to see their male counterparts, Y-Fronts and Jockstrap.
Oh Japan, you crazy!
Are there actually any magical girl shows that are suitable for kids? All the shows in this genre I hear about sound seriously dodgy.

Suitable for kids there or elsewhere? Because apparently Zettai Karen Children is a kids' show.

Yes their are~ Heart Catch Pretty cure has been an excellent magical girl anime thus far and i would consider it very appropriate for kids ouo/ Onegai My Melody is a couple years old but still good, Jewel Pets was last season or two i think, Shugo chara party!, Lilpri is still airing. yep plenty of ones good for children.

Cardcaptor Sakura is a totally cute magical girl show that is easily kid appropriate. The anime, anyway. The manga has more of that questionable teacher/student relationship, but the anime tones that down a lot.

To clarify, I'm not ragging on the genre at all, it's simply that my exposure to shows have been ones that I wouldn't want to sit my neices down in front of!

There's always the old classic Sailor Moon and my personal favorite, Princess Tutu.

As off-putting as it sounds, Tagro's Sarugassou has sold me on Tagro enough that I'm interested (I'm sort of fond of Hen Zemi too, despite a total lack of interest in much of the festishes it features)
