On MangaUK's twitter, they posted on there that they were waiting on Funimation to dub it before they could set a date for their release of it. http://www.mania.com/aodvb/showthread.php?t=99503&highlight=summer+wars

Funimation has denied it but that doesn't necessarily mean that they don't actually have it though. I doubt the guy that posted on MangaUK's twitter was wrong, so Funi are probably going to announce it soon since the UK release is now dated to come out in October.

This is great news! Summer Wars is a really fun movie and I'm eager to buy a local release. If Funi hasn't already secured the license I hope that this generates enough interest so that someone in N.A. does pick it up.

Wow. This is actually pretty freaking incredible. I was waiting to see it in a theatre my first time, and now I am. AND it's next Saturday. Awesome.
