Just so there's no confusion, Astro Toy isn't going away, it'll just have a new writer when it returns in 2 weeks. Said new writer will be announced when his first column goes up.

Aw, I will miss reading Rob's version of Astro Toy. I love the hilariously rantiness of it all. And Krauser!
Maybe he will have the occasional ranty toy review at Topless Robot? 'Cause that would be awesome.

Awe, Rob! Say it ain't so!
I'm glad that Toplessrobot is taking off, that's great for you! Maybe not your sanity, but sanity is over rated anyway.
Your writing is real entertaining. I'll miss the Krauser pictures (in this particular article he's very dwarfed - those ladies are his gods, no? lol). Maybe your successor will humor us with like pics? I hope. *keeps fingers crossed* May you always be the procurer of awesome toys & best wishes for the future!

...and I was just starting to get into figures too... not that I won't check out the new person writing the articles, but yours was just a lot of fun to read...

First Bamboo and then Rob "MacGuffin" Bricken? Man, that sucks. Bamboo got a good replacement and I hope Rob does too.

Aww man, I had a lot of fun reading your Astro Toy, and I'll be sad to see it go. I enjoyed it so much I did a couple mock toy reviews for my blog around Christmas, *Yay Asuka Pullip doll* complete with a Krauser action figure I stole from my dad.
No one understood Krauser and his inspection of the doll's assets.
Good luck with your other ventures!

I hearby demand the new writer of Astro Toy buy a Krauser Revoltech figure, to keep the tradition alive.
Best of luck to you, Rob! I hope Topless Robot keeps you nice and busy!

Here here. I'm going to miss it. It was the perfect thing to close the column with every time. I hope the next reviewer will get one especially since they aren't that hard to get a hold of.

Thanks for the great reviews Rob! Each review (especially those with Krauser) brought joy to my day. I hope that you continue to feature Krauser in the future on Topless Robot. He makes life more fun.
You will be missed.

Here's the thing with Krauser - it was pretty much Rob's thing, and I personally felt the new writer should have the chance to come up with his own "thing". If you guys are really going to miss Krauser that much, though, maybe I'll rethink it.

This is the first time I've seen this column and now I see you're leaving? Oh..
Well, those are the cutest figures. I never watched Uresei Yatsura, but Lum is a truly adorable one, I think she looks even better in this figure than in the anime.
I've never gotten into anime figures, just this fear that I'd start a new hobby and sink all sorts of money into it. But now I'm more strongly considering those Kei & Yuri figures I've seen on ebay. $40 for both- it just seems like a steal, and they look hot, to.

Well, whoever he may be, I'd like to see his own style. I'll miss Krauser too.
However, if I really find myself that sad over not being able to see his antics anymore, I'll get my own Krauser figurine and make up my own adventures about him!
