I was wondering if Rob has a shelf of Shame with all the Sh!tty figures on it or what?

I don't dispute that the figures pretty much suck... but looking at the concept art, I get the feeling that the figures might be somewhat based on Rukia and Byakuya's shitty drawing skills. Which would excuse everyone looking pretty much the same.
Then again, if there are similar figures being produced for other shows, and nobody has teddy mouths or random flowers on them, that pretty much kills my theory dead.

Wow those are dull, sorry you had another bad week of toys. Actually, I'm more sorry that you weren't able too put them in any strange/amusing poses that you usually do with the bad toys, at least you would get some entertainment out of them...

I had a figure that once, it easily broke though. But fifty dollars is crazy for something like that. Not to mention the figures look to super deformed for my tastes.
If I were to buy Bleach action figures, I'd look for quality and durabiliity. But at least I know not to buy this set.

They also look so very depressed. Grimmjow is the only one out of the lot that's SMILING. Urgh. I want my happy gashapons, thank you!

First off, I love this column. I really enjoy your sense of humor and writing style.
That said, didn't you know these would be awful figures before you got them? It seems like a lot of the stuff you get is "no brainer crappy". Do you have a choice about which figures you review? If so, could you at least try and order stuff that looks like it will be good?
Please note I'm not criticizing you or your writing, but rather what you are writing about.

What you don't realize us that Rob has mastered the ancient art of picking the sh!tty figures out of the container full of good ones. It's almost an Art Form!

Am I the only one so far who realized that Byakuya's and Ichigo's expressions are actually different? Their scowl is BIGGER than the others. Key fact, there. LOL

Dammit, someone beat me. Ten figures, ten rapes...only one second required.

Oh, Rob, your disgust at your figurine purchases is my entertainment!
I still don't think these look quite as bad or disappointing as the bootleg Luffy, but I could be wrong.

Wow, that's a ripoff. The Grimmjow figure is especially bad because it looks nothing like it's advertising art. Now, I know the other figures don't exactly look like the art either, but you can at least vaguely see the corresponding details in the art and the figures, aside from the lack of sword sheaths on the actual figures.
But with Grimmjow, the art shows him with his shirt open and his scar and Hollow hole visibile, while his figure has a shirt that covers his chest completely, with some sort of dot or something on it. Which is completely different from any outfite Grimmjow has ever worn in the series.
But since all you can see is their heads, I suppose it doesn't matter much anyways.
