Can't say I've heard of it, but it sounds interesting enough, I'll keep any eye out for it.

Awesome news. I was thinking after the last batch Funi announced, "a bunch of Gonzo shows, but not the best one; that's disappointing." But now, we will be getting yakuza mermaids and Terminator dad and everyone else. Good times.

Ohh nice, I haven't seen it all, but the few eps I watched were really fun.

I really like that they're gonna release it in just two sets, instead of a lot of individual DVDs.

subs were pretty bad/unfinished so this actually may be one series I have to buy to watch decent subs....screw the dubs for this one. Lunar probably won't be as funny and neither will San if they were dubbed....."Choco Banana" Anime hyper However, I'm hoping the whole box set will be less than $40 or $50

Does the license include the OVA or just the TV series?

Also the hint was kind of obvious... "Have a nice afternoon ya’ll. Or maybe evening?" which = San and Lunar respectively (or rather Sun and Lunar for the OP and ED theme performances) Also, the series was done by Gonzo and Funi has been on a Gonzo streak...

Aw, I was hoping for Higurashi season 2, but I guess I will check this series out.

Maybe FUNi will make my day since "it’s not over yet…" *hopeful*

It does look a little interesting to me, at least.

From what I've heard, that's pretty much the way it's going to be from now on for Funi shows. Reportedly, Soul Eater was the last one they were considering for an "artbox + volumes" release, but they decided to go with boxsets on that one. So once Baccano, Claymore, and Darker than Black wrap up, there probably won't be any more Funi singles.

I think I'll decide this title once Funimation uploads a few episodes for free. Looks interesting.

Though is it safe to say that all of Funimation's recent announcement will receive a dub?

Well boxsets are how i've always done my series(except for Haruhi and a couple others) so it doesn't bother me one bit.

...Never even herd of this series.

You and me both. Here's hoping they're in touch with the fans on this one.

Maybe they're just flushing out all the Gonzo announcements and then hopefully hitting on the things people want... Not that they (including myself) don't want this one too, buuuuuut... I have some hopes as if my av didn't already indicate...

Way to judge something before you hear it.

Or, maybe it was based on the letters at the start of the words.

So after going through all that effort to carefully spell out the Japanese title in their hint, they're going with an English title on the release. Go figure.
