Side bets? 60 on Sapp in the first round...if he goes more than 2 he's finished.

I dunno, if Sapp puts in as crappy a performance as he did against Jan Norte at Strikeforce, Kid Muscle might just win.

At which point Sapp should move to Tibet to avoid the public.

Better yet, is Mantaro even still popular in Japan? Didn't the show not perform as well as expected? Seems like he's still being regularly out-shined by his father and hasn't really caught on the same way.

The manga is still going, but they time-traveled to the 1980's; presumably so that they can use the '80s characters again. The manga is also seinen (not shonen), so it will likely never be as popular as Kinnikuman.

The Kinnikuman Nisei anime got canceled because it went into "filler hell" and its ratings plunged accordingly. When they aired the US episodes in Japan they were on at 1am or something and no one saw them. (And the ones that did were angered that Meat had no "にく" on his forehead.Laughing)

Is that true?
Then perhaps "ビッグバン・ベイダー" was supposed to be "Big-Bang Bader"?

However, eventually the second half of the choujin Crown finals arc eventually all aired in japan in 2006,and also, the anime ended differently than the Manga spoiler[in the manga version,it was kevin mask who won the choujin crown finals and thus the manga continued with the demon seed arc,but however the anime ended up with Mantaro winning and thus no new episodes were made afterwards.]

Is it wrong for me to wish there were more actual cosplay battles? Sanctioned or not?

C'mon, who wouldn't wanna see someone dressed up as Batman going at it with someone playing Kenshiro of FotNS fame?

Sapp's gonna win, unless this guy's fast. Also, the mask is supposed to cover his cheeks and chin, too. Mad

It looks like Mantaro's cosplayer is a real amateur. Crying or Very sad And I know Sapp was holding back, too. If you want good grappling, check out Flash Point instead.

Sapp was never the pinnacle of technical excellence, but his opponent was worse, a one-dimensional lay-n-pray wrestler.

Technical fighting came from the Shinya-Aoki vs. Eddie Alvarez fight. Aoki is a wizard when it comes to grappling, unlike Sapp and Mantaro.
