So the second OST has come out and I've given it a listen. After the more than expected hour and 15 minutes or so length, I found I was disappointed. Not at what was there, but at what was missing.
Personally, I feel the songs, Aimo Harmonica and Harmonica Only Versions are the most glaring losses. We went through the whole series and never heard a full version of either, and I'll be extremely disappointed if they aren't included on the next OST (if there is one, which I assume there will be). Are there any other songs anyone else thinks should be added? Or any other comments on the album itself? |

I would have liked separate tracks of "Lion" and "Infinity" instead of the medley.
"Aimo O.C." rocks, "Northern Cross" is also good, the rest varies between okayish and bleh for me. ETA: Let me repeat that. "Aimo O.C." is totally awesome. Why oh why can't Youko Kanno make music this good all the time? The last tracks by her I liked this much were the two Origa songs for Ghost In The Shell S.A.C. (2nd Gig). She'll never become as great a musician as Yuki Kajiura like that. |
