If it didn't have such a retarded plot, maybe. An eighth Millenium Item?

I always love your replies Anime smile;

At least this means that Ebert won't have to think twice next Janaury about putting an anime film at the top of his list.

His annual "Worst of 2004" list.

I saw my first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! yesterday on Kids' WB. Goodness, it was awful. Would make for some easy cosplay skits, though. All you need is a deck of cards.

And you would need a gallon of hair gel.

1. Just like you can't judge a book by its cover, you can't judge an anime by its dub (let alone one episode).

2. Almost all serious otaku think commercial for kids anime is bad Wink

Haha, you want to argue that Yu-Gi-Oh! is a good show? Okay, if you do, I promise I'll watch Monday's episode. (Friday's was a cliffhanger, after all.)

The way KidsWB has their afternoons arranged, Mon-Thurs is usually consecutive Yugioh episodes with Friday being a repeat of the new episode from the previous Saturday.

Figures. I guess I'll never know whether Yugi draws on the powers of his friends channeled through playing cards that are ALSO AVAILABLE AT YOUR LOCAL COMIC STORE and defeats all evil or fails and gets turned into stone for eternity.

I kinda like YGO.
There are worse shows out there than YGO. Granted...the show doesn't have much substance...BUT...watch a week of it. I bet you'll be mesmerized...by Yami Yugi's voice. You'll sit there and ponder how his hair defies all rules of physics and manages to stand up the way it does, how he manages to ALWAYS pull out the winning card, and question why Joey has a weird accent. It truly is a thought-provoking show.

I won't be truly afraid untill I see something on this site saying something about a live action Yu-Gi-Oh movie. Then panic will start to set in.

On a similar note, why does it seem like so many companies are coming up with plans for live action adaptations for so many anime. I think that I should find a company that makes brightly colored spandex and buy stock in it.

Hehehe, your posts are so fun to read =D

But why does everything we watch have to be thought provoking to the point where it questions the meaning of life? Why can't it be pointlessly fun?
