Pleasantly surprised at a lot of the voices, even if they're not my comfort food. What I want to know is if Leo will still have his ridiculous battle quotes. If not what's even the point?

I wish they would have at least kept John Truitt as Ghaleon, he's iconic.

I like the PlayStation versions well enough but it's kind of a shame the Sega CD versions have been completely abandoned in the west. The last time we got a release of the Sega CD version of Lunar was on the Japanese Mega Drive Mini 2 in 2022 but they were removed from the US edition due to licensing issues with Victor Ireland. I feel like a true Lunar collection would include all the different versions.

A new trailer was released with Ruby who sounds like Cassandra Lee Morris.

Turns out it was Anjali Kunapaneni. She does kinda sound like Jessica Calvello at times now that I think about it.

And I just realized something, I found out that Toshiyuki Kubooka was the character designer for the Lunar series, and now I know why I'm seeing Nadia and early Gainax's animation and character design in this game!!! And now I'll never unsee Mia as Shinji in the first Lunar game (yes, I'm aware he didn't work on Evangelion, but he worked closely with Yoshiyuki Sadamoto on Nadia, and Gunbuster, but still). Laughing





And before any of you come in: yes, I already know about Shinji was originally designed as a girl before Anno changed the character into a boy and his Nadia's origin.

Are there any other characters in the 2 Lunar games that look like they just stepped out of Gainax's anime series, or they resembled characters in Evangelion?
