Some really big seiyu already joined DB franchise in Daima - Fumihiko Tachiki, Kenta Miyake, Kenichi Ogata, Youko Hikasa, Shotaro Morikubo.
On top of that, Kouki Uchiyama, and Ai Fairouz (who is currently one of the biggest young voice actresses) are voicing two new main characters, and after Hiromi Tsuru, and Aya Hisakawa, Bulma gets her third seiyu who is at this point legendary in her own right - Mai Nakahara.
Yumiko Kobayashi is new Supreme Kai too...
If there is one thing one can always count on, is that Dragon Ball, or rather Toei anime in general always have stellar voice actors.

On Netflix just got off the high that is episode 8.Kinda wish I didn't see this picture as the headline but now the wait for episode 9 is gonna be even more brutal for me.

Yup. I wonder if Akio Otsuka or Daisuke Namikawa will voice some DB character in the future.

I know Toriyama worked on Daima prior to his death but I wonder if that was one element. I always admired Toriyama's way to play things by ear though and make up things on the fly when it came to Dragonball like the entirety of the Androids and Cell arc

I use Crunchyroll, but I couldn't watch Episode 9 until today, so I had the same problem. This isn't the first time I've seen an article about something I hadn't watched yet, so I'll have to remember to avoid ANN when I can't watch a new episode on its premiere day. Better safe than sorry. That being said, I did come across concept art of Majin Kuu (and other characters) earlier this week on social media, but I just assumed it was fake. Majin Kuu's design and name seemed like a fan creation to me, so I can't believe it's an official character. It has me wondering if the other characters and transformations I saw are also real. I'm not sure why concept art for future material would release this early, so maybe it was the graphic was a blend of real AND fake information. That's my hope, at least, because I try to stay blind when watching something for the first time. Considering how Daima isn't a manga adaptation, I thought I'd be safe this time. Oops. lol

The biggest/second biggest current TOEI anime, ONE PIECE, has one of the most underwhelming voice acting in current anime industry, especially for the main cast, the straw hat, and yes, I get and understand that they're old, some of them even has bad health, but man, I wish TOEI could do something, even the side cast's voice are not that great either.
Imo, Koby's honesty impact was one of the most disappointing voice acting deliverance this year, I'm not even asking voice acting on the same level like Re:Zero, just wish they were better.

I really love their iconic voices, and overall they are great for me, even if they aren't in their prime anymore.
I do, however, think that Masako Nozawa should have already retired from her DB roles, although she is still okay in Daima, IMO.
Btw, I just read that Yao Kazuki is retiring from voicing Franky.
