WHOA! I was definitely not expecting this. They literally sent the cast and crew to France, I figured that was gonna be it, but to know more is still coming soon is awesome.
For anyone with Amazon access, this is probably one of THE best anime-to-live adaptations I've seen of any IP. They capture rather well, the style of horror from games like Fatal Frame Crimson Butterfly or Lunar Mask. The first episode or so is a slow burn, but once you start connecting the dots, trying solving the mystery along with Rohan is incredible fun.
Am definitely going to be keeping an eye out for the new subbed release.

I thought the same which was why I originally entered a end date to it's recently made page. Nice to know it's not needed anymore since this is straight up promoted as it's ninth episode rather than part of a separate series post-film.

That's good to know, I thought Part 4's film was just okay but this sounds better than that.

Cool!
I wonder if they'll ever do more of the anime version.

Diamond Is Unbreakable the live action is what I assume you mean? It's not even in the same genre, much less the same league of how well they've adapted this. I don't want to over-sell, but they've legitimately managed in one fell swoop, to have all of the characters Rohan interacts with from the manga in a pretty much shot-for-shot recreation, while keeping their quirks and hair and everything, maintaining "realism" without going straight up campy or hokey, AND made it engaging for even people that have no idea what Jojo is. I don't think most people would watch Rohan and have trouble sleeping at night, but as someone that loathes western horror tropes, this show steamrolls anything Netflix has ever attempted to adapt.
