That's...too much stuff. Smile I kept thinking of what the inventory sheets for this place must look like. Do they even have such? Seems like it would take five full-time employees a couple of years to catalog it all.

Seriously, it's too much. When you dump the Mona Lisa in a pile of all the paintings ever made, it's no longer noticeable, let alone notable. I get wanting to have a complete (insofar as that's possible, which it really isn't) history and all, but I don't detect any sort of curation going on, except in a handful of areas. Models, in duplicate, triplicate (with maybe minor variations?) seem to be shelved according to physical size and wherever there's room. Pick representative models and give them their due.

That said, it looks like an amazing way to spend a day. Great article, thanks for the research. (btw, you can't overstate the quantity. You can easily understate it in this case. Wink)

Definitely want to visit Kaiyodo Hobby Land next time I'm in Osaka. Kaiyodo is one of those companies whose figures I've been collecting for more than 20 years now. Also, cool to see the legend himself, Bome, in one of the photos; he's looking good for his age!

This longtime figure collector thanks you for the wonderful article and photos!

I can’t imagine how they'd keep track of all that stuff. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack when the haystack is a mountain! I totally get the idea of wanting to showcase everything, but there’s something to be said for making sure the highlights shine through.
